my work at 19karen

A couple of months ago i went to this new gallery up near Broadbeach called 19karen. As soon as i stepped onto it's beautiful polished concrete floor, looked down through its spacious open areas and cast my eyes way up to it's state of the art lighting, I felt like i was back in SF.

A big thankyou to Mirriam and Terri for giving my work a place to hang, a place that is nothing short of amazing.

So I made up a jokey one liner to make myself feel better.

It's Photo Monday again.

I like this photo because it made me think about how much has changed. When the person whose name is on this headstone died they would have lived in a world so different to the one we live in now. Not only has a tree almost fully enveloped this persons 'life trophy', i'm digitally sending the image all over the web for anyone to see, and i didn't even take the photo with a camera, i took it with the 'drag to desktop' method. Crazy.
